Mthembu Chartered Accountants (Pty) Ltd is an accounting and related services firm based in KwaDukuza in KwaZulu Natal. The firm was founded in 2016. The firm offers a wide range of professional services and it is driven by high morals of corporate conduct and client satisfaction. The motto by which the company lives by states that “You can count on us”. This clearly demonstrates the values that drive us which are client-centric. It demonstrates our focus and reminds us that we have to do our level best to provide lasting business solutions to our customers at every touch point. We believe that we can only grow if our customers trust our services and that, in turn, will translate to sustainability of the business.
While the company is registered under one person, a wide range of experts are pulled in depending on the skills required for each project. We work with a number of chartered accountants who have experience in different fields both in private and public sectors of the South African economy. We also work with other professionals such as risk experts, corporate governance experts, corporate finance specialist, internal auditors, and tax experts, among others. This is done to ensure that business solutions that we provide to our client are holistic and add value to their businesses.
We pride ourselves in quick turnaround time within which we provide diagnosis to client problems. We then, on a consultative basis, craft solutions that are both lasting and cost-effective for the client. We are mindful of the scarce financial resources of our clientele base which is predominantly small and medium enterprises (SME’s). We believe that if we provide solutions that grow their businesses and ensure compliance they will grow a financial muscle that we can also benefit from in the future.
The company is owner-managed. It also has associates who specialise in different areas within the accounting and auditing profession. Management is assisted by two bookkeepers who perform most of administrative office work and client accounting and a receptionist. The managing director assumes the responsibility of all the work performed by the associates and subordinates after a thorough review process.
